Pubs in the Parish

The Limekiln Inn. It is located on the A372 approximately four miles from the Podimore roundabout where the A372 leaves the A303. It is just over a mile from the centre of Long Sutton and only half a mile from Knole. The very family friendly inn serves home cooked traditional English food and good beer, all at most reasonable prices.

The Halfway House. It is located on the B3153 half way between Somerton and Langport (actually just a few yards outside Long Sutton Parish). This traditional country pub has won the CAMRA Somerset and National Pub of the Year awards. It is approximately 2 miles from the centre of Long Sutton by road but there are several ways to get there on very scenic footpaths. Between 8 and 10 very well kept real ales are normally on offer and the food is simple, home made and good. Prices are very competitive. Wear your wellies, take the dog and sit in front of one of the three log fires. It is very relaxed.

Devonshire Arms. This very attractive building with completely modernised restaurant, bar and accommodation is situated on the edge of the Green.
